But firstly, I just wanted to say how happy I am with how the audiobooks have turned out. It’s a very special thing for an author to hear their characters come to life! I worked with Audio Factory based in Somerset in the UK who produced the books; Ciaran Saward narrated all three. They all did such an impressive job and Ciaran’s narration is very funny and entertaining! He convincingly performs over 30 characters across the series and it’s easy to forget that you’re listening to one person! Check out these audio samples from all three books:

Now back to audiobooks as a format. Audiobooks are perfect for multitaskers! I’ve listened to books while cleaning the house or walking outside and I also like to listen during longer trips in the car.

Audiobooks can be bought in one-off purchases or as part of a monthly subscription package.

So how can you listen to The Adventurers for free? There’s a couple of ways!

Libraries

While much of the world has been in different versions of lockdown, libraries have continued providing services through their digital media, including ebooks and audiobooks. In just a few days since release, listeners have already borrowed the Adventurers audiobooks from libraries in Australia, USA and Canada. If you browse your local library catalogue and the books aren’t there, there is an option to recommend the audiobooks (or ebooks) for purchase by your library, so you can listen for free!

Subscription Free Trials

If you want to try an audiobook but aren’t sure whether the format is for you, Audible, Kobo and Scribd offer a 30 day free trial where you can download an audiobook (or unlimited audiobooks with Scribd) for free. If you’d like to continue there is a monthly subscription after 30 days, or you can opt out before then and not be charged.

If you don’t want to sign up to a subscription and want to buy and download The Adventurers straight away, the audiobooks are available as one-off purchases from a wide selection of retailers:

Amazon

Apple

Google Play

Kobo

Plus many, many more!

If you listen to the audiobooks please do let me (and other listeners) know what you think by leaving a product review on the retailer’s site.

In other news, The Adventurers’ cover designer Andrew Smith has created an Adventurers colouring page! Enter your email into my newsletter sign-up at the bottom of this page to download a copy.

That’s all for now, I’m going to get back to the two writing projects I’m working on at the moment (more news to come!)

Happy Adventuring!
