School Visits

In a 2019 survey, The Literacy Trust found that pupils who have received author visits experience more enjoyment and more confidence in their reading*.

I am pleased to offer both online and in-person visits; I hold a full UK driving licence and am open to travel.

In-person sessions may be booked for a half or full day including an assembly, Key Stage 2 writing workshops, Q&A and a book-signing session.

Online sessions can include a presentation, reading, Q&A and a writing activity to continue with after the video call.

For further information, availability and pricing, please get in touch through my contact page.

“Great workshops, which encouraged the children to use their own thoughts and ideas and to build on them. Jemma made time for the children, so that they could ask and answer questions. As a result of Jemma’s enthusiasm and encouragement, a small group of children have now started a writing club and are also writing their own book. A very inspiring experience!”
